While we try to teach our children about life, our children teach us what life is about - author unknown

Bowling

When we left the house this morning, I didn't think Abby would bowl - boy was I wrong - she LOVED it (sockless in the shoes and all - fungi here we come - smiley face!)

Sam Whiting, Lexy and Kate Barrett
Hannah using the ramp - half way through the bowling round though, she realized the "big" kids weren't using a ramp and she didn't want to use it anymore - it was so cute - she thinks she's a big kid already (and in many ways - she really, really is - I know I'm biased, but she is fearless and jumps into things b/c she sees others doing them and ends up doing them so well!

Vegas (bachelor party and honeymoon in a day!)

My first trip to Vegas - and you would have thought we were celebrating our wedding events all over again...we went to the Venitian and Ceasar's Palace (remember - we went to both cities on our honeymoon) and then I finally got a picture of Chris (in his element - on his phone!) where he celebrated his bachelor party (at Bally's) oh so many years ago - smiley face!

Zion National Park, Utah

Aunt Janet leading the younger kids in "Heads Shoulders Knees and Toes" at the Harding Family Talent Show. Lexy, Hannah, Abby, Chris & I attempted to sing "Beach Party" from VBS...and Lexy & Hannah did their version of "YMCA" as well (their version is just "YMCA" again and again and again and again and again....shall I go on? smiley face). It was super cute!

The girls had so much fun on the zip line the first day, they asked to do it again so we let them the next day. It was just amazing to us how fearless they were jumping off a four story deck - smiling! It was EXCITING!
Abby LOVES to wear my hats....
she was putting a show on for everyone while they were waiting to start PAINTBALL!
Paintball fun with some of the Hardings! Chris captured the fort in the final game (with our AWESOME team). It was so much fun to play....smiley face!
The entrance to the resort we stayed in.....aka Meredith's picture (smiley face)!

The end of our hike - it was sooooo beautiful overlooking the entire canyon (even if it was scary at times having the girls on this mile hike with little to no guardrails - we were up soooooo high!)

In front of our horses for the chuck wagon dinner -
a memorable meal, if not delicious (smiley face)

Abby rang the bell (with Grandpa) for dinner - then Hannah & Lexy wanted to also!

The girls with Louie - if you found him hiding each day you got a treat (aka Hershey bar) -
the girls were OBSESSSED with finding him....
they found him twice during our trip (thanks to the concierge once - hee hee)!

The zip line activity started as a treat for Tom, Chris & me - when the girls saw us (and two other girls ages 5 & 7) do it - they wanted to join in the fun - smiley face! It was awesome!!!

Abby's version of pool.....

Lexy with her BFF (Sierra - Donny & Julie's daughter) and Dani & Joe's baby girl (I think - it might have been Cody & Megan's baby girl though -
they were both born on the same day....crazy!)

Aunt Janet & Uncle Don gave Lexy Hannah Montana make up for her birthday - the next morning Hannah decided to open her own beauty parlor (she painted EVERYONE's nails (except Granny) - Daddy, Tom and Grandpa included...smiley face!

July 24 - Lexy turns 5!!!!

Thanks for the "Drama Queen" shirt and lunchbox from Haley & Jenny!!!! It is perfect!
Abby with her buddy Cameron (Joe & Dani's middle daughter) - they were so cute together!

Playing at the pool....

Abby's adoptive parents - Tom & Mimi - smiley face!

Our morning driving through Zion National Park....on the way to the grocery store
(it was a 3.5 hour round trip - talk about remote (but BEAUTIFUL))

Lexy's FIVE today!
(thank you Gma for making the girls their adorable purple dresses - Lexy's request!!!!
We LOVE them!)

Visiting the petting zoo....
Lexy thinks she's a ping pong champion - smiley face!

Enjoying the fun pool and fast rock slides!!!!

This was such a FUN trip and we loved being able to spend time with not only our immediate family, but also all of the Hardings and their families in such an amazing place. Thank you Dad & Judy/Granpda & Granny for EVERYTHING! It was a trip to remember - smiley face!
