Swim Championships - qualifing
The girls did INCREDIBLE at swim championships. Lexy & Hannah dominated their swim meets all season - sweet Lexy prided herself on only getting firsts for EVERY event all season long - but the real competition was coming at GA Tech. Lexy chose to swim 25 free and 100 IM - and her coaches put her in both relays. Unfortunately they had her swim fly in the medly relay (something she hadn't done AT ALL - her best strokes are free & back and she's improved IMMENSLEY and done fantastic in breast too) and unfortunately her team was DQd despite a first place finish. She still qualified for the FINALS in free, IM and free relay. Hannah & Abby swam 25 free & back and the free relay. They did INCREDIBLE. Hannah got second place in both free and back - and Hannah's relay finished three body lengths faster than everyone else - amazing! Abby did great too - her times were so much improved from the start of the season! Her relay team ALMOST made the finals - they were close. She's so much more petite than her sisters - her time to shine in swimming will come - smiley face!
The last pic of Hannah in tears is from a fall as we were getting ready to leave...hope it doesn't mess her up for Sunday's finals
Thanks Nana for coming to cheer - Daddy took lots of pictures as Mommy was volunteering the entire meet running girls from our bullpen to the start...phew!
Lake Lanier Island FUN!
We opened and closed the park. Last year we bought discount tickets online and had to use them before our big trip....I took the girls just before lunch and Chris met us in the late afternoon after work - I had to leave around 6:30 for a PTA meeting, so Chris stayed with the girls until it closed. We had such a fun, fun day...riding all the slides numerous times - they were so brave trying EVERYTHING and loving the steepest one the most - smiley face. Love experiencing these fun activities with our incredible family - smiley face
