While we try to teach our children about life, our children teach us what life is about - author unknown

We love you mommy!

What a sweet ending to my night....I was at the FL game (where we lost to LSU) and daddy emailed me this....so sweet - s miley face!

UF DG weekend

What a fun, fun weekend I had with my pledge sisters from school.  There were 10 of us (closer to 35 from the pledge class before/after mine total) who made the trip down for the FL/LSU game.  It was so great to see the girls I love....and made me so thankful for the opportunites my parents gave me to go to a wonderful school and pledge an incredible sorority.  I may not see these girls much or even talk to them other than Christmas cards and an occasional girls weekend every few years but the memories were great and the laughter we shared was still the same - fun times (but boy did I feel old at the bars - ha ha).  PC '92 - "bim bam by dam - we're the girls from Delta Gam - fired up & ready to go - we're the girls you need to know!"

Fall Festival at Huntcliff Horse Stables

The girls had a ball when Daddy, Gma, Nana & Papa took them to the fall festival at the nearby stables.  Our neighbors helped put it on & we wanted to go to support them and HAVE FUN!  What a great fall day for horesback riding and playing.

picking our costumes....

The girls knew from Day One what they wanted to be for Halloween....I just had to set out to find it (at a price less expnsive than the catalogs they first saw them in....smiley face).  Lexy tried the first costume on and LOVED it - yeah!  One cheetah down....Hannah wanted to be a Candy Corn Witch Fairy - so glad she chose costume two - ADORABLE.  Abby was going to be ariel - we pulled out two costumes (from Lexy three years ago) and added a wig - she's PERFECT.  Now for the fun to begin....Happy Halloween - smiley face

Great Day of Service

We spent the morning at Dunwoody Nature Center spreading mulch with our Sunday School class for this year's Great Day of Service.  The girls got into it (then spent some time on the playground, then spread a little more, played a little more, spread some, played some) and I was impressed - I came  home with muddy knees....a great day indeed - smiley face.

Daisy Kidnap Breakfast

Lexy's Daisy Troop was kidnapped for breakfast in October - so fun.  The girls had donuts, did crafts and sang (they got cutest troop) for everyone on stage....what a fun morning they had (I missed it even though I'm troop leader, Chris was hosting Great Day of Service and I took Hannah & Abby up to DUMC to support him for breakfast)

I'm playing catch up now....

I haven't been that good about posting lately - mostly b/c my blog was full space wise (a good problem to have - we have lots to share, right?!  smiley face).  But I decided to go back & delete older posts from 2007 - I've printed them all out so we have them forever and now I can share what's going on in our fun lives...smiley face

It's probably going to be a bit out of order (ie - Disney we went to back in Sept but it's now Nov) but we'll share it all eventually - smiley face
