Lexy's gift for Daddy

The girls each bought their daddy his own Christmas present - and they came up with their gift all on their own (Hannah wanted to get him running shoes & Abby running shorts).  I didn't help with ideas or suggestions at all...Lexy's was adorable.  She wanted to buy tic tacs and rename them CRAZY PILLS - perfect (economical and hilarious, what's not to love from his perpective) - Daddy loved EVERYTHING....sweet girls - smiley face

a week in St Augustine

We had a great week visiting Granny & Grandpa in St Augustine...it was cold, but we didn't let that slow us down.  We played at the park, climbed trees (in their front yard and by the lighthouse - although Lexy was afraid to come down from one of those trees b/c she was so high up), climbed the lighthouse (although Abby wasn't tall enough and wow was she devastated so we created felt pictures while everyone went up...but then Grandpa went crazy & bought more fudge than our family could eat in a week and she was on cloud nine again - ha ha) and played in the park nearby.  We played more in their front yard every afternoon (Charlie loved the paddle ball game) and rode our bikes/walked everywhere.  We enjoyed ice cream, carmel apples, fudge and cupcakes....among other things....this was a vacation!  Abby was over the moon excited when she was tall enough to ice skate (her first time ice skating) & ice slide at Winter Wonderland (and while she skated the shortest amount of time, she was definitely the most graceful at it....but Lexy went skating twice deteremined to master it w/out the wall - so proud!).  We watched the bridge go up & cannons go off (LOUD!).  What would a trip to St Augustine be w/out going to the beach?! - it was a BEAUTIFUL day - daddy ran and met us down there and when Aunt Meredith & Mommy went on a walk - everyone ended up in their clothes in the COLD freezing water - but they had a ball.  Thanks for a fun trip - smiley face!!
