sprinklers in March
Lexy was at a playdate (but the girls saw her in their backyard in a bathing suit) so we came home and got out a sprinkler and the girls played while I did yard work...it was a gorgeous day in Atlanta....although the hose water was still FREEZING so these sweet girls trapsed through the house time & time again to get warm water from the sink to pour over them after running through the sprinker - too cute and maddening all at once (maddening b/c of the water mess in the kitchen - ha ha).
Happy St Patrick's Day
Those crazy leprechauns visited our house again this St Patrick's Day (I'm still cleaning up confetti/glitter a week later) and turned our milk green, toilets blue (we couldn't figure that one out - does yellow and green make blue? ha ha), put hats and socks on the girls american girl dolls and left all kinds of gold (candy) in a pot in the kitchen....and to top it all off, Hannah was (mostly) happy about the day (the night before she threw a ROYAL fit b/c I wouldn't go to "the place that started with a P" (Phipps Plaza" or the "store with the red ball in front of it" (Target) to get her some shamrock pants and a green leprechaun shirt to wear to school....wow do we have our hands full with her - smiley face. Despite the clothing drama, we still had a fun day celebrating - at home & at school.
Faklaris Family Photo Shoot
We had the first family photo shoot on the Faklaris side since Abby was a baby.....these are a few of the photos I snapped w/ my camera. It was a beautiful March day in Atlanta - and we had so much fun with the entire side of the family - smiley face
Girl Scout Day at DUMC
Lexy was an usher on girl scout Sunday at church....she handed out programs and walked in the girl scout procession
Abby talks tennis
Sweet Abby started tennis in the fall - and after her second lesson this spring - she shared what she's been learning with us at the dinner table the other night. She said "this is a forehand" and did it, "this is a backhand" and did it and "this is a bolley" and did a volley. When I said "do you mean a volley", she said "no mommy a BOLLEY" - so sweet.....and she went on to show us a "forehand bolley" and a "backhand volley". She's learning - smiley face. Glad she's having fun with it!!!
